Athy RFC are delighted to announce that Tony O'Brien joins the club as our new Senior Mens Head Coach for the new season. Tony is a vastly experienced coach across both Rugby Union and Rugby League having achieved a Level 3 coaching status in both codes.

Tony is a very well qualified and vastly experienced Strength & Conditioning coach. He has extensive experience working with Super League teams, Sheffield Eagles, Warrington Wolves, Hull KR as well as Connaught in the Magners League. As a keen sportsman he has represented his county in Football, rugby and athletics, he also holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate.

We welcome Tony to Athy RFC and wish him every success.

Athy RFC are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the Provincial Towns Seconds Cup (J2) Semi-Final this Sunday 22nd April at 3pm. The Semi-Final will see neighbouring clubs Naas & Tullow take on each other with the hope of securing their place in the Seconds Cup Final.
