December 2025
Welcome to our inaugural Club newsletter for the season 2025/26. Where have the first 3 months gone! So far this year we have hosted our Annual Golf Classic and just completed our “Endurance Boat Push”, many thanks to everyone who purchased a Your Club Your Country Ticket – best of luck in the draw ! On the pitch our Senior men are enjoying a great run in the AIL Junior Cup and look forward to a Semi Final December 13th!We would like to give a warm welcome to all the new players who have joined us this season as well as our coaching, backroom team & squad who have stayed with us for the coming season.
Grounds Updates
Over the summer we have installed new LED lights across our the training pitches, progress continues on our walking track around these pitches, the Government Sports Capital Grant scheme played a very significant part in making the lights possible and we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all involved in making this happen in club. Both these projects do however have a shortfall that the club has to make up we will continue with our fundraisers over the rest of the season.
Senior Team Updates (by Club Captains Craig Millar & Liz Brophy):
Currently fielding J1, J2 and J3 teams, the J1 team beat Sutonians in the AIL Cup and progress to a Semi Final 13th December, Great result in the LL last weekend against a strong Wexford team with a MOTM performances from Jack Henry. Our women’s J1 team are pushing hard in a very difficult Division 1, we host Balbriggan this weekend and another home game on the 14th and would appreciate all the support 😊
